Twelve more points for Joan Mir

Moto3: Second position for Joan Mir in the San Marino GP. A very difficult race due to the proibitive weather condition in Misano World Circuit. The Spaniard rider of the Leopard Team, starting from the second position on the grid was able to push from the first meters of the race trying to stay with the leader group. He stayed focused for the whole race and finished on the second place of the podium, behind Romano Fenati. Good 6th position for the Redbull Ktm Ajo’s rider Bo Bendsneyder despite a crash on the initial part of the race when he was fourth.
Fantastic comeback for the Mahindra Gaviota Aspar’s rider Albert Arenas that started from the nineth row with a series of great laps he got his best result of his career finishing 8th. One point for his teammate Lorenzo Dalla Porta that finished 17th.
Mir is still the Championship Leader ahead Romano Fenati and Aron Canet.
Moto2: Top five for the Redbull Ktm Ajo rider's Brad Binder. The South African rider takes his best result in the middle class. Started from faraway in 17th position on the grid he overtook many riders during the first laps of the race and finished his race in the 5th place under the rain of San Marino. Great performance also for the Pons Racing’s rider Fabio Quartararo that started from the ninth position on grid he fought with many riders and finished in 6th position. Unlucky race for Mattia Pasini who crashed in the initial part of the race after he had taken the pole position on Saturday. Also an incident stopped the race of Miguel Oliveira, the Portuguese rider of Redbull Ktm Ajo that now is fourth in the Championship score board behind Marquez, Luthi and the championship leader Franco Morbidelli.
MotoGP: Just two positions off the top ten for the Pull&Bear Aspar’s rider Alvaro Bautista. The spanish rider, started from the tenth place on grid, went immediately to the last part of the group due to his bad feeling with his front tyre and the low grip of the rear tyre. After he overtook many riders and toke the checkered flag in 12th position. 17th position for his teammate Karel Abraham that started from the 12th place on the grid was pushed out from another rider in the third turn of the fist lap and crashed. Despite this he was able to return on track and finished in 17th position.
The next round will be on the 22th- 23th September at the Mortorland Circuit of Aragon.
