The best weekend of the season!

Moto3: Victory and second position for Joan Mir and Livio Loi respectively in the AustralianGP. The Leopard Racing rider’s Joan Mir started from the third place in the grid and pushed hard for the whole race fighting for the victory against a group of ten riders. Successively of a series of overtakes he was able to gain in the leading position and never left it till the end, eventually winning the race, which was stopped 5 laps earlier doe to sudden rain. With this victory Mir has become the Moto3 World Champion 2017 with two races to the end of the season.
Fantastic race also for his teammate Livio Loi that earned more than fifteen positions. Started from far away on the 21st place he finished behind the winner in the second position at just three tenth of a second.
Best performance of the year for Lorenzo Dalla Porta that finished 10th giving a good result to his Mahindra Pull&Bear Aspar Team after the difficult weekend in Motegi.
Moto2: Perfect one-two finish for the two riders of RedBull KTM Ajo. Miguel Oliveira started from the third place in the grid could lead the race from the first meters. Lap by lap he opened a considerable gap from his follower and finally won the race. This has been the first victory for Miguel Oliveira in the Moto2 class and the first victory for RedBull KTM Ajo as well.
Now Oliveira is 3rd in the championship score board with just two races to go.
Best results of his Moto2 career also for his teammate Brad Binder that for the first time this year started in a great 4th position, thanks to a good qualifying session. For this reason this time he didn’t have to waste time to recover positions and he could battle for the podium from the first laps of the competition. Binder concluded his race behind his teammate in a fantastic second position.
MotoGP: Karel Abraham third Ducati’s at the finish. Positive race for the Pull&Bear Aspar rider’s Karel Abraham that started 15th and fought for the whole race with the factory bikes of Lorenzo, Dovizioso and Pedrosa. In a weekend that saw all the Ducati bikes with some difficulties, the Czech rider was able to finished 14th despite the low grip of his rear tyre on the finals laps.
Some problem for his teammate Alvaro Bautista who for the entire weekend had suffered of low grip of his bike on the cold and windy circuit of Philipp Island and in spite of this he gained five position finishing 17th.
The next round will be on the 29th October in the Malaysian circuit of Sepang.
